KNX standard control technology
What is KNX?
KNX is the abbreviation for KONNEX, an open standard for automation in commerce and construction including standards: EN/50090, ISO/IEC 14543. This is also the only standard in the world that is not operational. according to proprietary protocol.
KNX Association - one of the world's largest associations for control technology for homes and buildings. There are nearly 500 famous brands worldwide that produce KNX standard control equipment with the management and quality control of the KNX international association and 95,000 certified experts in 190 countries around the world.
KNX/EIB standard distributed control technology
Distributed control structure, devices in the system are capable of processing information and operating independently, ensuring continuous operation of the entire system.
No need for a central controller, no dependence on any central device. Completely different from technologies that use a central controller or host computer, Gamma tech smart home solution uses many separate (distributed) controllers for each electrical device (load) with different smart functions, thus ensuring the stability of the entire system. If a controller fails, only one device (load) cannot be controlled without affecting the normal operation of other devices in the system.
