3. Function of Vimar SOS Switch
The Vimar SOS switch is utilized for emergency alert functions within the Gamma Tech smart home control system.
- In case of emergencies, such as a break-in or situations where children or the elderly encounter challenges they cannot handle on their own, homeowners can press the SOS switch. Subsequently, the corresponding smart scenario will be executed, and the system will send notifications such as emails, SMS, etc., to the homeowners. For instance, if there is an intruder in the house, pressing the SOS switch triggers an audio warning: "Alert! Security forces are on their way. Cease this intrusion immediately!" Simultaneously, the system turns on lights, opens curtains, creating a disconcerting environment for the intruder. Family members receive email notifications to determine an appropriate course of action.
